Scaling & Improving Together, the Next Steps in Nature Based Solutions

Save the date on the 22nd of June! Partners for Water is hosting the 'Scaling & Improving Together, the Next Steps in Nature Based Solutions' event. This event is organised around visits from the Asian Development Bank and World Bank. Aimed at companies, NGO’s, knowledge institutes, government agencies and financiers working abroad on Nature Based Solutions (NBS), the goal of the afternoon is to work together to implement NBS internationally for water security and water safety worldwide.

During the event, the following themes and issues will be discussed in an interactive way:

How can we ensure a long term positive contribution to biodiversity and nature
How do we facilitate local ownership and an inclusive process?
What are the lessons learned from ongoing and completed NBS projects? What knowledge gaps exist and how can we improve them?
How can experts and financiers accelerate the implementation of international NBS projects?

Over the course of the afternoon there will be time to network and meet other practitioners and learn from each other’s knowledge and experience. Together with the existing NBS-community we’ll take a step towards better understanding and implementation of Nature Based Solutions.
